The Tria Prima of Mastery

All mastery unfolds across three domains: physical, mental, and spiritual

Salt – Corpus (Body): the fixed, stabilizing container in which transformation takes form.

Sulfur – Anima (Soul): the fiery, expansive force that initiates, directs, and animates transformation.

Mercury – Spiritus (Spirit): the fluid, neutralizing force that neutralizes Salt and Sulfur, preserving coherence.

When any domain is unbalanced, the system falters:

  • Without Salt, nothing takes form; with too much, form is rigid.

  • Without Sulfur, nothing moves; with too much, everything burns.

  • Without Mercury, nothing neutralizes; with too much, change becomes directionless.

Mastery is the precise calibration of all three domains—body, soul, and spirit—into a unified system, reflecting the Law of Three as described by Paracelsus: the fixed, the volatile, and the mediating principles, forming the triangle at the heart of all alchemical work.

Alchemical Phases as Magic

Alchemy unfolds through three inherent mental faculties, each governing the practitioner’s process of transformation:

  • Albedo (White Magic): the faculty of order and will.

  • Nigredo (Black Magic): the faculty of chaos and fear.

  • Rubedo (Red Magic): the faculty of surrender and sacrifice.

From the conscious engagement of these faculties arises Citrinitas, the Solar light, where clarity and awakening bring the purified matter to full conscious power.

To master these faculties is to master the self.

No mastery occurs through white or black magic alone. Everyday rituals become maladaptive if all three—white, black, and red—are not integrated. True alchemical work requires their equal and conscious application.

At King Alchemy, we guide students in the objective application of these faculties within a structured alchemical system, empowering them to manifest their vision and craft reality with precision.
